The venture of Seeds + Salt has gone through several iterations over the last 6 years, as I’ve chased down small sparks of inspiration. I suppose it will continue to evolve that way, though it feels like it starting to take a slightly more permanent shape.

In January 2024 — with the immense support of my family, and alongside some special friends — I became the steward of a big ole field in Efland, North Carolina. Exciting and full-brain-occupying times! There are many dreams for this field, but there is also the reality that good things take time, and over that time, I suspect many of those dreams will change and adapt. At the core, the dream is to make this field into a home, a farm, and a place for folks to gather.
