The venture of Seeds + Salt has gone through several iterations over the last 6 years, as I’ve chased down small sparks of inspiration. I suppose it will continue to evolve that way, though it feels like it starting to take a slightly more permanent shape. Enter Slow Talkin’ Farm

In January 2024 — with the immense support of my family, and alongside some special friends — I became the steward of a big ole field in Efland, North Carolina. Exciting and full-brain-occupying times! There are many dreams for this field, but there is also the reality that good things take time, and over that time, I suspect many of those dreams will change and adapt. At the core, the dream is to make this field into a home, a farm, and a place for folks to gather.

Dedicated to learning and preserving the knowledge of those who work the land and eat what they grow, Slow Talkin’ Farm provides local markets and chefs with a diverse mix of culinary-focused produce and seed, on farm-farm workshop, meals and preserved goods.

  • $10 delivery fee for orders under $50
